The 2012 Beef Industry Safety Summit will feature dynamic sessions and speakers to commemorate the significance of this 10th anniversary event. The Summit will be held in Tampa, FL beginning at 8 am Wednesday, March 7, 2012 and ending at noon on Friday, March 9, 2012. The first session on Wednesday will showcase the latest in beef safety research presented by leading scientists. The afternoon will be dedicated to presentations and interactive sessions with food industry leaders reflecting on safety accomplishments while challenging the audience with future needs. The agenda on Thursday and Friday morning will include joint sessions on common-interest safety topics as well as breakout sessions focusing on specific sectors of the beef business, each providing opportunity for attendees to interact with colleagues. Each day will be closed with a reception of heavy hors d'oeuvres and time to network with attendees.
